REGISTRATIONS OPEN! The Global Housing Training Institute (GHTI) is being held from Sunday 30 November through to Thursday 4 December, at University of Queensland, Gatton Campus, QLD. The GHTI provides an exceptional professional development experience for advancing professionals (those with a minimum of 3 years experience) working in student accommodation. Participants will meet and interact with other colleagues, establish mentor relationships with experts in the field and gain skills and competencies needed to meet the current and future demands of the profession.
APSAA Student Accommodation Essentials is an excellent opportunity for new professionals in student accommodation, to gain a broader understanding of the industry. Facilitated by industry professionals with a wealth of experience in both PBSA and university housing, participants will meet and interact with other colleagues, and gain exposure to and an understanding of APSAA industry best practice.
MEDIA RELEASE: APSAA Welcomes National Code to Address Gender-Based Violence in Higher Education

The Asia Pacific Student Accommodation Association (APSAA) welcomes the Australian Parliament’s passage of legislation establishing the mandatory National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence. The consequential amendments bill passed both houses on 25 August 2025, paving the way for the Code’s implementation across the sector.
